A'Face was being fussy and kept asking for Daddy, even though he knew very well that his Daddy was next door and was coming right back (that's how brats behave sometimes).
BH told him, "Your Daddy is coming back. Hush."
Harsh.

Milk
Aunty Angelo's breast pump top was within reach in the kitchen.
BH got to it when no one was looking.
Grandma came back into the kitchen to meet a BH with shirt up and you can only imagine what next.
No matter how hard he tries, there's no milk to be had.
Currently listening to: "Sandstorm" by Toshiro Matsuda, from the Gekijouban NARUTO Daigekitotsu! Maboroshi no Chitei Iseki Dattebayo Original Soundtrack

You Would Swear
It's not as if he doesn't know the difference between chicken and fish but I guess he was having an off day when Grandma put the chicken in the pot.
He wanted to see it and asked for 'up', peered into the pot and exclaimed, "Wow! Fish!"

Being Naughty and Doing Exactly as Told
I heard there was a time-out tonight because BH put a small toy part in his mouth and went running.
He knows better than that but he is so stubborn these days.
As usual, he cried when he got a time-out and to help him understand (not that he doesn't) why he got put in, H1 asked him if he knew why he got put there.
"Tell me why," she said.
"Why," he answered.
I'm not too clear if was "Why" or "Y" he responded with.

Skidamarink
There's this little song BH had been learning at school and H1 found the lyrics and learnt it as well so that she and the BH can sing it together at home.
There's a lyric in there that is something to the effect of "I'll love you in the morning and all day" or some such thing, and as she was singing it to him today, she asked him if he loves his mommy in the morning etc etc.
He quickly responded "No".
That, of course, made H1 very sad and she in sheer shock, she began to cry and speak to him with great disbelief.
Realising what he did to his mommy, he said "Well, actually, yes. Don't cry."
It was a dry as it reads.
I wonder if H1 will ever sing Skidamarink again.

Re-Living Our Childhood
No longer does he want to watch PBS Kids Sprout or Noggin.
It's all Tom & Jerry, The Flinstones and Pink Panther for him.
(Pink Panther had me rolling the other day, by the way).
H1 and I want to ween him off these violent shows because he's just too young to understand that when someone gets flattened by a rock, they don't just pop back up as H1 pointed out (not that, he could have the strength to pick up a boulder but he does have the strength to start stoning people).
We watched these things when we were kids and turned out alright (heh) but we just can't take that chance.
While it makes me a bit happy he's watching the good stuff (although we all hated Tom & Jerry and didn't really care for the Flinstones - why won't he watch Top Cat?!), he's better off reading the red and green books.
Unfortunately, he's had a taste of vintage cartoons and cannot go back.
I can't wait for the day when I can introduce him to Looney Toons.

All Kinds, All Colours
The Day Care he goes to sent an order form for story books. Boo Head informed us that he wanted "all kinds. Red and green books. for the blue and black people."
We are still confused.
