BH got a new bicycle this week having outgrown his previous bike and with Summer fast approaching, the days for riding are here.
His cousins are staying with us for a little while until they have a place in NY to settle in to and the funnies just keep coming.
The new bike came home but there was no time to set it up the day of arrival.
The next day, with the bike still in the box, instructions were given to not mess around for fear of a falling heavy box on some children or parts going missing.
Grandma walked in to see that BH, A'Face and B'Cheeks were ignoring instructions.
"Who opened up the box? A'Face away from the box, and come inside BH, let's go! Away from the box too!"
Crying followed all the way into the bedroom but when laid down to change clothes, BH looked up at Grandma, smiled slyly and said quietly, "I told A'Face to open it, Grandma."
Tricks, they really are for kids and bicycles.

The Rule
For those of you who may not know, the term for passing gas in Trini speak is "poom".
Yesterday, BH was frantically running all around in discomfort and had quite a few smelly pooms - a good indication that he needs to use the bathroom for pooping.
Grandma, on to his tricks grabbed him up to use the facilities.
BH has decided that he no longer wants to use the potty because he does not like the smell of his own poop (at least I know he is not smug because I equate that to not liking the smell of his own farts), hence the reason Grandma has to pick him up and put him to use the toilet.
It was then a new rule was laid down for Grandma to understand:
BH: No Grandma, "One poom means 'no'. Two means 'you have to go' "
Currently listening to: BH doing some substraction math with some M&Ms and H1.

Trickery
For the past few weeks, BH has a new phrase to say when he's really sorry and that is, "I am Double-Decker sorry!"
I don't know where he got that one from but the other day, he used it on his father who had not heard it before.
Luuuuiiisss found it cute and smiled and when BH saw that he quit his crocodile tears to think to himself out - loud, "Well, that worked."
