New Year's Eve

At the end of the year, we'll see if BH can stay up with us to usher in the New Year as he did in 2009.

He toasted with orangina like H1 did as she was on antibiotics for her mysterious throat infection, while the rest of us had champagne.

When the ball dropped on tv, I suppose he may have missed it in all the excitement and asked if it would drop again.

He also wanted to know if this is what we do after he goes to bed - drink alcohol and stay up way late.  I assured him we're not louts.

The Piggyh Incident

On the HOchieS blog, there's The Cheat version of the Massacre that went down on New Year's Day.

While *all* elements of that story are true, the real truth as BooHead saw it is as follows...

1. Evil Santa in the tree did the actual smashing of the piggyh.
2. His Mommy was the one who in cahoots with Evil Santa, carried out the hit on Piggyh when H1 moved the piggyh to face forward - his tree branch swung to the right and he slammed straight into Evil Santa making it look like an accident.
3. Boobey (Or 2) needed to be immediately told even at the risk of being called a "Tattle-Tale".

I hear the expressive gasp and the disbelief when he called "Boobey!" was immediate and hilarious.

4. H1 didn't stop there but proceeded to break the piggyh even more, making the scene even more heart-wrenching.

Boohead promised to get me a new pig "tomorrow", which was about 24 days ago.  Finally he was realistic and said I'd get another at the end of the year.

::sigh:: That pig lasted all of a week in our house...
