How Fun

Water balloons are fun.

I apologise in advance for the nipple balloon.

His aim is not very good but he has fun chasing us and running away.

We had fun splashing balloons at his feet and hearing his joyful screaming and laughter.

It's good being a kid with a bucket full of water balloons for arsenal.

After Breakfast

Perhaps Nutella Monster Pancakes with Banana slices for eyes was not just cutting it (I thought we cut it!).

Or maybe after such an event, a date with play-doh is required.

Whatever it was, BH insisted that I was still hungry and that I needed to order a Play-Doh Lunch.  That reminds me, I have to teach him about the wonders that are "Second Breakfast" and "Elevensies".

For lunch, I ordered ramen.

"Noodles, please," I asked.

Noodles I did receive.

Those are some fine looking noodles.  Udon, maybe?

"But wait!" I exclaimed.  "Have you a bowl for me?"

"Sure," was the reply from BH.

The dog bowl?
Suddenly I was not feeling that hungry anymore.

Next, it was H1's turn to order.

"Takoyaki, please," she replied when asked.

 "They're awfully small," H1 said.
Does she not know that beggars cannot be choosers?

She prattled off a bunch of things too including soba noodles as part of her order.

With everything made, it was time to serve.

Straight into the dog bowl.  Again.

Wait, isn't that going on top of my food?

At the end of it all, I think H1 and I came out winners.  We got a lot but paid nothing.
Or paid dearly with our aching stomachs.
Something like that.

But as I said, beggars can't be choosers.
Oh hey, I think I see a strawberry in there...

Snow Day: Scenario II

The Story of a Boy and His Lost Snow Boot

When we last saw our hero, he was trekking off into the Great Unknown (otherwise known as the Backyard), on a journey of discovery with shovel in hand and 2 feet of snow to explore.

It turns out that his Epic Journey was not meant to be, as minutes later the unthinkable happened.

A little help here would be really welcome right about now.

Mommy! Do you not see that my boot is stuck?
Help! Mommy, I lost my boot! Help me, Mommy!

Taking pictures and laughing or helping your son?
Man, I REALLY boring you guys.

~THE END~

Snow Day: Scenario I

The awesome snow day we recently had meant an extra day at home with BH.

An extra day at home with BH meant awesome snow day memories had with pictures to show for it!

Playing with snow by trying to push it
through the neighbour's fence? Fun!

Shoveling? Manual Labour is definitely not fun.
Giving up before I start though, that seems like a good idea.

They're on to me! I might as well do as they want...wait.

Um, they don't honestly expect me
to tackle the backyard by myself....right?

No one's stopping me.
I boring you guys.

The Bee

One day, while BH and I were running around the yard, he decided that he would play a bee and 'sting' me.

Regardless of what H1 thinks, I maintain that I did not teach him this nonsense nor is he 'pick up' his ridiculousness from me. He inherited it from his mother.

Ferris Wheel

It's a Boobey and Suga'Face first - we went on a ferris wheel.
