His daddy opened a bottle of seltzer water, and the noise the fizz made as the gas escaped caused BH to shout out...
"Daddy Bloopin!"

This Is How Things Are...
"Yes" is "es" with a shake of the head in agreement. He's finally saying "yes", kind of...
BH is a grape! He'll defiantly say 'no'. Yesterday he told me he's a good boy in response.
"18" is not a fluke. He knows that number well for some reason.
He won't speak to his mommy or me on the telephone while we're at work, but a little trickery by telling him it's Auntie Angelo and he's all on the phone "Hiiiiii". I'm sure there was sweet eye to boot.
X is traumatized that we used her good name to trick him into speaking with us on the phone, and just like the boy who cried wolf (except messed up for her, not us), he wised up to our trick and when X really did call to talk to him, he ran off screaming bloody murder. Heehee.
He loves those little girls... he's got three new friends that he met at Aims'. What a clown.
Currently listening to: "Hurricane Bomb Gokudera Hyato" by Toshihiko Sahashi, from the Katekyo Hitman Reborn Original Soundtrack I.

18
Very calmly, and matter of fact like, when showed the bottle of wine by X, and asked what number was on it (X's intention was to point at the first number then the next), BooHead shocked all by saying "18", then turned right back around to whatever he was doing.
He shocked most, because I know that kid can read and knows stuff.

Haircut
Last weekend, he was brushing his hair, looked at himself in the mirror and said that he needed a haircut because 'hair too big'.
He got one yesterday and was very excited to tell us.

He's Right
Grandma had a slip and out came a very loud sounding passing of gas.
BooHead, who had the misfortune of standing behind her, almost immediately yelled out:
"Big Poom! Gad, Stink!!!"

Making Word People
Here is his belly,
and here is his head,
There are his arms
and there are his legs.

Boobey placed a fitting word over Word Person No. 2 after telling me he was a little something. More reasons why I think he reads. Also, yesterday he woke up and looked over to see what time it was.
Currently listening to: "Hang On" by Illinois.

Happy Thank You!
This is Boobey's 3rd Thanksgiving but the 1st that he'll be all up in the food. It's the start of another fight involving another mouth to feed with stuffing.
I'm not sure if A'Face will love the stuffing because he doesn't like much of anything other than chocolate but just so there can be even more fighting over stuffing, chances are he'll like it.
Happy Thanksgiving to the Boobies!
Note: H1 wished him Happy Thanksgiving and he responded with Happy Thank You.

Just like Bunji and Or 2
It's too soon to tell but every since he was younger, he's been fascinated with playing doctor as previously blogged.
Dr. Boohead seems quite the versatile person.
The other day, as Bunji was giving money to Grandma, BooHead ran up to the transaction, shouted "money!", grabbed the money and ran.
Bunji is convinced Boohead is just like him, which means he could do some serious stock market buisness in addition to being a doctor.
I guess he'll also be a serious sous chef to somebody because he's been helping hism mommy out in the kitchen as well.
I'm happy my job will be taken over by another. Heh.

Some Funnies
It was clear a long time ago but we have to watch what we say around Boohead. He repeats and understands everything we tell him.
The other night, on Grandma's birthday, we went to the Chinese take out restaurant to buy Birthday Take Out for Grandma. We told him as much and as we pulled into the parking lot, he whispered "Chinese Store".
Then he went in and said, "Chinese Store". It was not a horrible thing but kind of funny too.
The other day, Angelo realised she speaks like Boohead when he's around.
"Boohead! Eat Food?" and in the same breath, "I'm talking like him now."
That's cute.

Birthday Routine
The tail end of the year means lots of birthdays for the HOChieS and friends, and BooHead has become skilled at celebrating. He knows exactly what is supposed to happen once that cake comes out.
For Grandma's birthday, he sweetly sang Happy Birthday and gave her the present he bought for her. As soon as he gave, he quickly tore the paper off because he's quite skilled at unwrapping gifts as well. He also demanded that she put on the earrings ('earrings!' he called in surprise as if he didn't know what he got for her) right away.
Last Saturday, we celebrated JJ's Birthday and went to her Birthday party in Brooklyn. There were many kids and parents about and as soon as the cake was unveiled he began singing Happy Birthday before everyone else. They weren't moving quickly enough I suppose, so he clamoured for them to 'candle in', 'light it', 'blow' and 'take out candle'.
He knows that you just don't delay the eating of the cake.
Smart.

Jingle Bells
I am quite pleased by the fact that Boobey can sing "Jingle Bells" like a pro. I'm prepping him for Christmas but the whole concept of sleeping under the tree does not yet seem to be sinking in. The tree's not up yet and I have until the 24th to train him.

Playing The Blues
I was standing in line at Michael's today (the arts and crafts store), when Boobey ran up to me and handed me a harmonica with all this ruckus behind it.
I could hear H1 telling him from the side that he should ask me to buy it please.
Which he did, quite loudly, "BOOBEY, PLEASE!" and had the woman behind me laughing.
He's been rather enjoying the purchase, which makes me happy even if he has been playing the blues.

Not a Hemo Either
For the past few days, I've been telling him that my headphones are broken. Yesterday when I got in the car after work, we were talking about the new headphones that came to the house.
He saw that I had my Ipod and wanted to hear 2 things by way of special request.
"Rock Band", he said.
So, I played his favourite "Blitzkreig Bop" for him.
After that was over, he requested "monkeys".
He wanted to listen to his Uncle Alex and Arctic Monkeys.
I was so proud and impressed.
Beetchie, he's not a hipster or an emo, much like I'm no Hemo either. Ass.

Shark Attack
After his last haircut, he came home with another new friend. I was hoping for another Monkey Duck but as we all already know, I love sharks so I was quite pleased. I was actually hoping for a Monkey Shark but that's okay too, I suppose.
Yesterday, Shark Friend held on to my finger.
"It got me!" I cried.
And when Boobey pulled it off, my finger was missing.
He cutely looked down the belly of the beast to see if my finger was eaten and stared for a while until it was revealed that Suga' was okay and the finger was magically reattached.
Needless to say he was not tricked again until my thumb disappeared after being engulfed by Shark Friend.
Thumbs aren't fingers.

Stinky II
A big hug and kisses were passed around this morning to his Momma.
::Kiss kiss kiss::
When suddenly, he pulled away and held his nose.
"Stinky!"
::gasp::
H1: Who's stinky?!
BH: Momma.
H1: That's not a very nice thing to do to your Momma! Who's stinky?!
BH: [Boohead]
H1: And who else?
BH: People!
Sometimes he doesn't keed.

Touching Story of the Day
Beetchie,
Boo-Head saw a picture of you today on your Facebook and asked for you and said, "Come back".
Awww. He remembers and he truly listens when we tell him stuff.

She Like Me
As he entered his room downstairs, he spotted something that belonged to me.
BH: Boobey!
Grandma: What yuh calling her for? Boobey doh like you.
BH: Boobey like me.
It's true. I do.

Stinky
His daddy slipped a fart under the covers while Boo-Head was under there. He flew out from ther equickly and cried what we already know - "Stinky!"
"Big Bird is..."
"...A'Face."
It's not yellow if that's what you people were thinking.
Just so it is known, "Elmo's hat is on his..."
"...bottom."
And there you have it.

Doctor Boobey-Head
With doctor's instruments (measuring tape) in hand, Boo-Head began inspecting Grandma's ears, arms, head and legs, in what was to be a routine check up.
The full physical included taking blood and as he said, "check boobs".
Perhaps in her loopiness, X is right.
Maybe it should be Boo-Head for President in 2040 but I worry about the scandal he'll bring to his campaign from his days as a doctor!

Monster Attack on the House Under the Tree
Ben, The Verizon Guy
On Tuesday, our Verizon Fios had to be fixed because the On Demand Feature and the Program Descriptions weren't working on any of our televisions.
A nice gentleman from Verizon came around to check the situation out. At some point, right after he arrived, he had to go back to his truck to get something.
Boo-Head ran to the window, looked out and called to the man, "BEN!"
Now, my first question when I heard this story was, "Is that man's name Ben?"
It was not Ben. The man had not even told Boobey his name yet and Grandma asked him, "You're calling him Ben? How do you know that's his name?"
Boo-Head ran to the kitchen to see Grandma and asked, "Name? Name?"
So when "Ben" the Verizon Guy came back, Boo-Head asked him, "Name?"
Turns out, it's Bobby.
Boo-Head took it upon himself to name that guy and named him "Ben".
We have no idea where he got "Ben" from because we don't know anyone by that name other than someone my Mom knows, who she called at least 1 month and a half ago.
I don't think that's where he got it from, but I'm convinced Boo-Head can read. Clearly, he misread "Bobby" but there are other reasons I think he can read and has in the past.
Ha.

Guilt Trip
I called Boobey from work on Thursday last to let him know that I wouldn't be coming home until later.
I knew the conversation would be difficult when he answered and never before did he do this but he came on and was very excited to talk to me.
"HI Boobey!!!!!", he said.
I was shocked.
Then I told him I wasn't coming home on time.
"Come home. Play, Boobey," he replied.
I explained, "I'm sorry, Boobey but I'm not coming home right away, okay?"
"Okay" he said, very teary and genuinely sad.
It broke my heart. It almost made me really stay home because I was already debating whether or not to go see The Last Shadow Puppets.

Presents for A'Face
This week, Boo-Head took pieces of paper and wrapped up presents for A'Face.
Today, he wrapped another.
I hope A'Face likes packets of duck sauce and rubber bands.

The Great Bottle Regret
This was not as sad for Boobey as it was for H1.
A few days ago, she threw out his bottles and it made her realise that she truly does not have a baby anymore.
It'll be okay, H1.
He's still ridiculous.

Unintenional Insults
A'Face called to talk to Grandma but when he got on the phone, he was all silent.
"What's the matter, A'Face?" asked Grandma, "you suddenly dumbed up?"
At his point, Boobey got on the phone and began chanting "dumb! Dumb! Dumb!" to A'Face.
I would not have done that if I were Boo Head….

The Great Baba Mistake
"One day, you're going to have to put baba in the bin and say goodbye, Boo-Head", his momma told him.
What happened next was chaotic.
He got up, went to the garbage bin in the kitchen and threw his paci out!
"Baba, garbage, Trashy Town, byeeeee"
All in the room were stunned, even Boo Head. When it hit him what he just did, he ran to the living room with head in hands, distraught and crying.
I guess we all must say goo'day to baba one day.

Leading the Revolt
These are the details of the events that occurred yesterday and today, as relayed to me from a valid source:
On a Thursday night at 10:20pm, the night before day-care.
BH: "milkcup Mama."
H1: (not believing that BH really wants a milkcup because BH has been trying all tricks to get out of going to bed ontime) "When daddy gets out the shower, ask him for your milkcup honey."
10:30pm. BH has fallen asleep.
H1 (a little smug) to Luuuuisssss: "I knew he did not really want that milkcup."
2:00am (H1 is sleeping very peacefully) when out of the darkeness...
BH: MILKCUP MAMA!!!!!
H1 is startled awake to see BH standing at the side of the bed looking at her indignantly.
Friday morning on the playground at daycare.
Luiissss calls to say that he heard a teacher saying: "No, No, we do not climb up the slide."
BH is apparently leading a revolt on the playground, encouraging kids to climb up the slide.
BH might be in TimeOut.

Boooooobeeeeyyy
Yesterday, I went over to H1's house to retrieve the PS3 chord to transfer our Rock Band songs to Rock Band 2 for use by The Oxtails in the future.
When I got there, Boo Head was strapped into his seat at the table, having dinner with his mommy and daddy. However, he saw me and immediately wanted to be let down.
"Boobey," he whispered when he saw me followed by a loud, "DADDA! OUT PLEASE! OUT!"
By the time he was let out, I was already upstairs looking for the chord when all I could hear coming from downstairs was the sound of Boo Head eagerly looking for me.
"BOOOOBBEEEEEEY!"
He darted from the kitchen, to the living room, to the bedrooms before he realised I was upstairs. When he got to the bottom of the stairs, he looked up and saw me staring at him.
"Here I am!" I called.
"Boobey. Come downstairs!" was the reply I was met with.
Following demands and upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, I was taken away to play cars.
I told him a secret that he has kept well-guarded from his mommy just as I asked him to.
What's the secret?
We'll be playing Rock Band this weekend with new songs to sing.
He seemed unimpressed at first but then smiled quietly and said, "Hey Ho. Let's go!"

Mmmm, GOOOOOD!
This entire week, Boobey has been climbing up on to the table to take an apple from his apple picking excursion.
The first day he pulled the climbing stunt, Grandma told him that he should not do that because the dirty apples had to be washed before being gnawed into.
Every day since then, Boobey will climb up to the apples, take one and say, "Mmmm, GOOOOD. Grandma! Clean up! Clean Up, Apple. Please!"
Even though he already bit into it.

Picking Pumpkins and Apples
Last weekend, along with Alex, JJ & Co. we all went on a hunt for a pumpkin or two to carve and some apples to pick.
Boo Head had a grand time running about the pumpkins, trying to choose just the one he wanted and of course, mingling with other kids on the quest for their great pumpkin.

After two rather large pumpkins and one cutie pumpkin were secured, we walked up the hill to the apple orchard to pick a $20.00 worth bag.
Boo Head was pretty hungry after his jaunt threw the pumpkin 'patch', and tearing through the orchard, so he sat down on the goat sharted upon grass and munch a few apples.

He didn't care much for the skin, as it can plainly be seen...
The following day, Or 2 carved one of the pumpkins with a little clean up help i.e. gut removal thanks to Boo Head and Luuuiiisssss.
There's no picture of the carved pumpkin yet but there's a goblin. Boo-Head is very interested in this Goblin, which he called a ghost initially because he is still obsessed with ghosts.
And I am still concerned.

Making Sentences
He is beginning to make sentences but has not quite gotten the hang of it yet. For some reason, everything ends in the following manner...
"Momma, milk cup is".
Is?
Is what?
We're not sure but it's pretty cute.

Misunderstanding
Grandma told him today that our neighbour's son's birthday was today.
He began to cry and insist that it is his birthday still.
I believe he misunderstands this whole birthday month thing. He only gets a day! I'll have to have a word with him later, especially since I heard he tore open presents that didn't belong to him, like nobody's buisness.

Dirty Subways
Boobey is sick again and this time we may have to blame the subway. He went on it for the first time on Friday to have dim sum in Chinatown.
This was the third time he has had dim sum and I might have to finally accept the fact that he may not like it, which saddens me.
This morning he awoke and told his mommy, "head broken. Ambulance."
Headaches suck, it's true.

ReThinking
"My Grandma! My Grandma!" - this after he realised Grandma and Papa went to visit A'Face and B'Cheeks.
Then silence. Followed by,
"My A'Face."
Today is new day, I suppose.

Shameful
Sandy Cheeks and Titi Nana gave birthday presents to the birthday boy today. One by one they brought them wrapped and beautiful out of the bag, and when the last came he said...
"more"
and went looking in bags to see if there was anything left.
Way to embarrass us, kid.

Happy Birthday, Boo-Head!!!!!!

You are two years old today!
How fast the years go by...
I hope you like all the presents everyone got you, with lots of fun times, fun stories, fun cuddling time, and fun train rides.
We love you, little Boobey!

Ugly
There was crying one day - an upset face and tears.
Grandma asked him to please stop his crying because, "you look ugly when you cry like that. Please don't cry, nah."
The crying continued, Boo-Head ran to a mirror, looked at himself and said through the sobbing, "ugly".
Heh.

Wiping Away, Birthday and the Crane Game!
This past week, Boo-Head has done many things of the 'naughty' kind.
He has begun to wipe off his mommy's kisses! And pretty much everyone else's too.
The other thing he insists upon this week is saying that his birthday is on Saturday.
I got a box of presents that he contributed to, and what does he do?
"Open it!"
"No, Boobey, it's my box! It's my stuff for my birthday!"
"Jogan's! Train! Open please!"
"No, it's MY birthday! Suga'Face's!"
"Jogan's" ::taps chest to indicate it is his birthday.
"Suga'Face's."
"Jogan's."
Eh. That kid likes to keed.
One cool thing he has started doing is creating 'scenarios'. This week, he set two of his cars up as if they had been in a bit of an accident and overturned, left them, then went to find a crane to get them out of the drain.
Yep, he told Grandma that he needed a crane.
And in a bit of an interesting news non-Boobey Head related, A'Face told me, "I cry. I hate school."
I don't know where he learnt the word 'hate' either.
Currently: Really thirsty. I wish the cats would get me water.

Singing
This weekend we went to Toys R' Us so that Boo-Head could buy himself a toy with some of the birthday money he got from our recent house guests.
It turns out that Toys R' Us were celebrating Geoffrey The Giraffe's birthday this weekend in stores.
Party hats, colouring books, Thomas the Train wooden whistles, and stickers were all given.
In addition to this, H1, Dadda and Boo-Head joined the parade march around the store, which began with a Happy Birthday song to G. the G.
Boobey thought the song was being sung to him and was rather proud of himself.
It's the same kind of proud smile and look-around look he gets when we applaud him for doing something smart.
H1 had to stop singing because she was laughing so hard.
Another favourite song of his this weekend is the spaghetti and meatball song.
Bold letters are the sentences he completes:
On top of spaghetti,
all covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball
when somebody achoo.
I like his version better.
I don't know if I've mentioned it but he's finishing the lines to "Blitzkrieg Bop" to my delight.
And finally, Grandma only sang this song in front of him once but I guess it's the only thing that makes sense to him and he'd be right:
I had a little monkey
he went to the parlour to buy me some bread
the lady there took a piece of charcoal
and shove it up he nose hole
oh lord now my poor monkey go ded
It's tragic he knows that horrible song.
Grandma's never to sing that again!
Note: The lyrics are probably wrong but that's basically how they go because I, myself never want to hear that song again!

Ghosts
For some reason, he is obsessed with ghosts.
He knew of ghosts sometime last year when he liked to be brought up to my room by Papa, and he would inquire about my Luigi's Mansion figure atop my dressing table.
"That's a ghost," I would tell him.
"Ghos," he would reply.
He hasn't been in my room for months and I only mentioned it whenever he was there but lately, all he talks about are ghosts.
Sometimes, he goes into his room and starts saying "ghost!".
The other day, he went into a Halloween store, went to the back room for changing and said, "ghost!".
Two evenings ago I figured that he must have been seeing the little ghost plush Sandy Cheeks gave to me last year, so I brought it down and asked him what it was.
"Ghost!" he said.
"Yep. It's a ghost!" I answered.
And then, he became scared of it.
It was rather odd.
Then he realised that ghost could play peek-a-boo with him from under its hoodie, so he was okay after that.
I really don't know where he's getting this stuff from considering it looks nothing like the one in my room.
It's...kind of scary and has me a tad concerned.
Maybe there's something he sees that we don't?
I doubt it.
I just hope I don't get knicked in the 'ead again.

Elephant
More art from Day Care -

I'm not sure where the red dot was originally but that's how it was given to me.
I'm going to take liberties and say that the upside-down elephant is marked for death or maybe a bindi? I guess it depends on the country that elephant is from.

Rollin' Down Rodeo
After a month of no Day Care due in part to sickness, Boo-Head returned to his beloved Day Care.
Why did we send him there though?
He experienced his first encounter with racism!
One of the class 'trips' was to visit the nursing home of the hospital and 'he enjoyed dancing and singing for the grandmas', according to the report.
They probably had him dancing like a monkey!
"Dance, Monkey, Dance!"
Sad.

A Handsome, Money Lovin' Boo-Head
For two days, one of our recent guests kept telling Boo-Head how handsome he was. He no longer says he's cute and if you ask him, he'll say he's handsome.
Our guests gave him money for his fund (or for my fee of $710 for pain and suffering and a dirty camera) and in true Chinese blood fashion according to Grandma, hid the money behind his back.
As they were in the car leaving for the train station, he was at the window - not telling them goodbye but rather, shouting "Money! Money!"
I guess he wanted more money.
When asked what he'll buy with his new found wealth, he told his Daddy "Milk" and "Ice-Cream".
When asked by his Mommy, he said "trains".
When asked if he'd buy Or 2 a present, he declined.

Sunglasses
After the debacle with the broken glasses, I went to the Mall for a long overdue eye exam and a new pair of glasses.
I ended up getting sunglasses as well (which ended up more less "Rock Band" than anticipated).
I put them on, walked away from Boobey to throw something in the bin, then returned to where he was standing.
He gave me a sweet face and in a flirty voice said, "Hiiiiii" and waved.
I had to inform him that it was me and not some goo'd looking stranger.

Haircut Toy Friends
After each visit at "Snip it!", a haircut establishment for kids, Boo-Head gets a toy.
The first time, he got a black bear with a large stomach. When squeezed in the middle, the bear would extend his head upwards and 'stand' straight.
This bear is known as "Dada".
The second time, he got a brown bear with a wide stomach. When squeezed in the middle, the bear would expand in and out.
This bear is known as "Momma".
The third time, he got a yellow and brown snake. It's a type of rattle, we're certain. I've not seen it in a while but he's around somewhere.
This snake has not been named.
Last Saturday, his closed up fist held a new friend to add to the mix. His palm opened up when I asked him to show me his friend and there sat,

a Monkey...duck?
Monkey Duck is known as Monkey Duck.

Thankfully, it does not remind him of me though, that wouldn't be a horrible thing as Monkey Duck is pretty awesome.
He gives airy kisses, which stuns Boobey-Head every time.
He spasmed the first time Monkey Duck blew a kiss in his face.
It's the funniest thing.
I need to make sure Monkey Duck doesn't get lost in the bag of cars. He should not suffer the same fate as Momma Bear who went missing in the car a few days ago.

Jeebus
Grandma was on the phone with H1 today, and in the background could be heard "Down, pleaaaassee. Down, pllleeaase!!"
When it was realized that Grandma was ignoring him as he sat in his chair, Boo-Head increased the volume of the screeching, "DOWN! PLEASE!!! PLLLEEEEEAAASSSSSEEEEE!!!"

Cheerios... See You in the Morning
Cheerios are "G-o-o, GOOD" to Boobey.
H1 and I are working on that "D".
As Papa HOChie was leaving today, Boobey told him "Bye Byeeee, ~e you ~~ morning". The 's' and the 'in' weren't quite there but we understood what he meant.
He learnt it from H1 and applied it accordingly.
Smart.

Dirty
H1 just reminded me of that time when Boobey was looking at a blemish on Grandma and after inspection said, "Mole dirty".
To which Grandma replied, "my mole dirty?! Your penis dirty!"
He knows all about that because he wanted a bath once and told his Momma that his penis was dirty.

Bridges and Slides
His fever broke this morning. I'm here watching the results of this event. It had him sweating lots as if he were dumped in the bath but now he's here, crazy! All the energy he did not have for the past week was building up and is currently in full effect.
He already went upstairs and sat on his dinosaur ball toy, trying to use it as a slide because it reminded him of his own slides outside (at the power of suggestion of me). Silly kid! It was obviously too small for him and it was hilarious.
He was also using Momma as a bridge and when I asked him who's crazy, he said he was.
It's true.
We're happy though that he is feeling better and hope that was truly the last of the fever.

Happy Birthday, Momma!
If you are here, that means you found your first present. It cost me not much but I guess time is money sooo... Well, it did cost me a little bit of sad moments, some moments of panic (when you'd come around in the room and I had to hide what I was doing quickly and blogspot refused to co-operate), but mostly there are fun moments.

Still Sweet, Even When Sick
Boobey's had a fever for the past week. He went to the doctor yesterday and admist crying due to fact that he was in a small room with a doctor, he still managed to be polite.
H1: Boobey, say bye bye to Dr. E.
Boobey: ::bawl bawl:: Bye bye ::bawl bawl:: Tank ooo (thank you) ::bawl bawl cry cry::
He was sleeping when his fever came back last night, at which point H1 had to wake him.
H1: Honey, you have to wake up because you have a fever…
Boobey (sleepily): Hot.
H1: Yes, honey, you're hot…
Boobey: Medicine?
H1: Yes, honey, I have to give you medicine
Boobey: Drink?
H1: Yes, honey, I have your drink right here.
Boobey: Tank ooo
This morning when I saw him, he had his paci in his mouth and I told him, "Okay, you're going to have a day of play with Grandma today! Hopefully no more fever. And when you see the cats say hi to them, alright?"
He looked up the stairs and said, "hiiii, braaowww (that's what cats are and that's what they say, apparently)".
"Yep, say hi to Pumpkin."
"Pumpkin, hiiiiii".
It makes me a little said that he says Pumpkin so clearly now.

Three Little Birds
He and Momma were singing this today. The parts in bold are the words he sings - he completes the line...
Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds
On my truck
Singin sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, 'this is my message to you'
...other than the truck and the 'you-ou-ou', he completes the lines pretty well for the most part.

Rock Band
Did I ever mention that Boo-Head loves Rock Band?
He loves music and when Rock Band came out last November, he was all over one song.
He loves to sing his favourite song from that and it goes something like, "Hey ho, let's go!"
That's right, he loves The Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop".
That was a year ago and he still sings the same song to me but today he actually sang in time and got an 'awesome' on the 'hey ho' part.
He loves music and when Rock Band came out last November, he was all over one song.
He loves to sing his favourite song from that and it goes something like, "Hey ho, let's go!"

Sneezy
I forgot to mention it but at some point this week when he was sick, he had a runny nose and he almost rubbed it on his Momma. H1 said to him, "Don't rub your nose on me! Go rub it on Grandma."
Well, let's just say he certainly listens.
Grandma could do nothing but thank him but I'm sure she wasn't thankful to H1.

Testing Us
At the beginning of the week, Boo-Head had a cold which he has graciously passed along to me.
During his illness he was full of complaints - more so than usual. On Monday he tossed his milk into the sink because he did not want milk in a cup. This has been an ongoing thing with him ever since we've been trying to switch him from the bottle to a cup.
He refuses to give up the night bottle and only recently started drinking from a cup in the morning off an on.
He has been pretending to ignore us while in the car and won't talk to us.
Tonight, I was passing by the door, headed towards the kitchen and he waved at me and told me 'bye bye'.
"I'm not going! I'm going to the kitchen."
Then, I was sitting on the couch some time later and he looked at me, looked at the door, looked back at me and said, "bye bye" while waving.
How rude!
Currently listening to: "Tamashii no Kyuusai" by Kaoru Wada, from the D. Gray-Man Original Soundtrack I.

Bonjour!
In an attempt to begin teaching Boobey-Head new languages, H1 and I have begun saying a few phrases to him.
He loves to say "Bonjour", dislikes "Au revoir", is just about a master of "Ohayo" and "Konbanwa" but can only muster 'chi wa' of "Konnichi wa".
Currently listening to: "A Full Scale Attack" by Nobuo Uematsu, from the Final Fantasy VII Original Soundtrack.
P.S. Boo-Head just called me on the phone, trying to tell me something about my hands. I don't know if they're broken or dirty. He also told me, 'love you' which sounded more like, 'lov oo'.

The First Day
Yesterday, little Boobey-Head went to his first day of Day Care.
The last few weeks or so have been traumatic for H1 and myself because we were nervous about sending him away to a place where he knew no one, nor would he have any of his family there with him being that it would be a first for him to ever be without us.
It turns out that he did great.
As I heard it, he ran away from his daddy to go play with a bag of cars he saw, then only after 30-40 minutes he realised he was alone, and then started to cry.
Because he was upset, he did not eat breakfast but made up for it at lunch.
He also had the loudest voice on the playground for most of the day.
Overall, he apparently had a good day and did quite well.
We're proud and I'm sure next week will be easier for us.
Today was A'Face's 2nd birthday (Happy Birthday A'Face!) and it just made us think about how fast time goes and that B'Head will be approaching his 2nd in a couple of months too.
This morning he was a big boy, sitting on my lap with much clarity in his speaking. It won't be long before he'll be talking at full speed in complete sentences we can understand.
Boo-Head will probably not let me call him that soon.
I'm sure there'll be plenty of Hi-Jinks even when that time comes.

Shame
Yesterday, he came out of the bathroom after bath time, dragging this huge towel in front of him. When he spotted me, he looked down and made sure he was covered up properly.
"Oh ho! You have shame, Boobey! That's right, cover up!"
Then he walked away, with his little feet on the towel very gingerly, with his front still covered but it was then I saw it - he covered the front, but no the back.
He has no shame.

A New Game
There's a game he plays with his mom and it goes like this:
"I can't find Boo-Head!", says Momma.
::Boo-Head hides under a blanket with his pacifier (baba) in his mouth::
"You know how you find him? You have to listen for him!", says Momma.
It's at this point you listen and Boo-Head will loudly suck his pacifier
"There he is!", Momma exclaims.
::smile::
Cute.

A Dinosaur Attack
We developed a new game yesterday, where one of Papa's scarecrows from the garden, shimmies across the table and then plays "Stomp on your Train!".
Currently listening to: "Somnolent Forest" by Tsuyoshi Sekito, from the Brave Fencer Musashiden Soundtrack. I wish they re-release this game for the DS. That'd be the coolest thing ever.
Friday Morning Playdoh Session
I was greeted by a Boo-Head in bug pajamas. He wanted to play with playdoh and this is what we came up with, inspired by his attire -

I actually think it came out pretty good but the radioactive glow confuses me. Yeah right, playdoh's about as non-toxic as my butt.

Currently listening to: "The Chase" by Alan Reeves, Phil Steele, and Philip Brigham, from the Kill Bill Volume 2 Soundtrack.

Pending Rain
At some point during our day of play, the clouds turned black and the wind started to blow cold and fierce.
With the threat of rain, I tried to gather up Boo-Head and A'Face to hurry indoors. "Quick! Let's go in the house!", I shouted.
Boo-Head ran straight into his play house, closed the windows and prepared for the coming storm.
Hilarious.

Froggy Fun
A'Face came to visit today and discovered a plastic frog in Boo-Head's collection of toys.
According to A'Face, the froggy says "Yibbit". The frog is apparently Jewish.
Currently: trying to figure out why the Dragons in Dragon Tales are Spanish. There's no such thing as a Spanish Dragon!

Did I mention I feel sorry for the poor screaming little frog?

August Continues to be Fall and Quiche
Yesterday we went to the craft store Michael and their Fall display was out. Hey, it feels like fall so why not, I guess.
Boo-Head happily went running through the aisles that had the displays of fake orange and red wreaths, arrangements and tried to pick the Fall fake berries.
He was born on the 9th of October making him a Fall baby. I think he's going to have fun times this season as I always do.
In other news, this morning he had a taste of quiche for breakfast.
I am informed that quiche, like crab, tastes like "dirt".
Currently listening to: "Thomas The Tank Engine" on TV. It's an episode all about Skarlowey (or however that's spelt), and the sound of Boo-Head's pitter-patter which is more of a thunderous gait in the room above my head.

The Giant's Cottage Under the Frighteningly Majestic Tree
The Giant known as Boobey-Head has his own cottage that lies just beyond the hilly hills of Gnome Country.
Gnomey Gnome stumbled across it today in an adventure, when he decided to follow Boobey-Head back from whence he came.
The adventure began a tad past 6 PM. Boobey-Head, after a Summer day full of play in the Tote Full of Sand, on the small-for-him slithery slide and running through the tall blades of green grass - the Giant was tired and headed with one he calls "Dada" to a house.
Gnome has come to realize that it is a Summer House, with a little red card parked outside, much like his Cottage and his little red Gnome Mobile.
Yet it is not.

Upon closer inspection, the Summer House has Yellow Windows on either side, that open outward and the Giant enjoys opening them upon entering.
He doesn't just 'open' them though, he pushes them with such force that if Gnome were to not be careful, he'd be hurricane'd clear across the valley!
In the Summer Abode large enough for the Giant known as Boobey-Head (although Gnome was rather amused to see the Giant's Adult Relatives squeeze recklessly inside on ocassion, much to Boobey-Head's dismay), there is a pull down table.
What's the table for? Is it for tea? Is it for Art time? There are no chairs, which confuses Gnome. "Who has tea while standing?" he ponders.
There's no bed for nap time either but only the soft grass to lay on but Gnome was sure there were ants abound but perhaps such tiny things as ants are no worries to a Giant.
Gnome has decided that the house has not been fully furnished or is just a place for shade. It's nothing like his Summer Cottage in Gnome Country, which has a full bath, a guest room and a hammock in the back yard for napping under the sun.
The Summer House seemed to be thoroughly enjoyed by the Giant though, it seems to Gnome and "that's all that really matters", thinks he. "A place to play, a place for shade and a place to enjoy Summer!"
As Gnome trundled back to Gnome Country, ducking behind the tall green blades of grass in hiding, chittering with ants on the way home and whistling a sunny song out of earshot from Boo-Head, he thinks about the lemonade he would make from the pink lemons that grow in the summer on the bush near the cottage.
He thinks about the raspberryade he would like to make from the bushes that grow on the other side of The Giant Boo-Head's Summer Cottage, all while grinning from ear to ear.
And then he thinks, "I wonder if Boo-Head will fit in that cottage next year at the astronomical rate he seems to be growing!!!!"
Gnome is Currently listening to: "The Sound of Settling" by Death Cab for Cutie and "Take it or Leave It" by Arctic Monkeys. He wishes they'd put the Arctic Monkeys discography on "Rock Band", so that he could do a jig like no one else can.

Full of Keed
Today we called him as per usual and when asked if he wanted to speak to his Mama and Suga'Face, the answer was the same in both instances as Grandma informed us: he pretended to be asleep and therefore could not speak with us.
Apparently this is what he does now when he doesn't want to talk to us.

The Car Hospital
There's a hospital in the living room, under the mountain where the train track runs.
It's a hospital for damaged cars.
It would appear that the hospital is quite adequately funded as all cars there always look quite healthy with a full body of multi-coloured paint coats, sometimes smiling faces and always bright-eyed.
This upstanding health care must be thanks to the booboo cream and the caring hands of Dr. B-Head, the well-respected Director and Chief Surgeon at the hospital.
Or maybe, this is really the Neglected Car Hospital - cars that have been locked away after months of play and are no longer wanted, along with a kitty and a red bird.
Yep, it used to be an animal hospital once. I remember when Boo-Head loved that bird...

The Painting Continues
Fall Comes Early
Tonight, I heard children happily cavorting outside my window on the street some the place.
I thought to myself, "Suck it up, children! Enjoy your freedom while you can!!" which is what my usual response is to the sound of children playing in August, especially on this cool Fall feeling night.
It made me a little sad though, not so much for the kids but for Boo-Head who will soon be doing the same. Will he be nervous? Will he be happy? Will he cry? Will he be okay at school? I'm sure he'll hate it like most kids but I'm hoping he'll be a bit of nerdle, love going and do well.
He will do well though, I'm going to make sure of it.
Awww, he's growing up fast.

Not Right
Yesterday he went to a little Hamburger Joint, saw a little girl sitting nearby eating an ice-cream and called to her, "Ay, Girl". That is wajang behaviour that I know nothing about but H1 slapped me like it was my fault. I never wajang.
His adventure today included a trip to Papa Hochie's Office. It wasn't truly an adventure for him I suppose but luckily Granma's Jury Duty stint has ended and he can go back to playing in his sand tote amongst other things to pass his day.
That Sand Tote is greatness. It's good for now and a great way to save over one hundred dollars.
Angel calls it a sandbox for selfish kids. That's pretty funny. Awwww.

Connecticut: the New Sodor?
There was a train adventure today involving Thomas. Boo-Head and A. Face went to Connecticut to ride the 'real' Thomas the Tank Engine.
I was not there but later when I asked Boobey where he went and who did he see, he sweetly smiled and said "Thomas". I asked him if he had fun and he replied cutely, "fun". Awww, that smile was classic.
He's so full of knowing, not that he wasn't before but the level of understanding is much more interactive now.

Some of Boo-Head's Favourite Sesame Street Videos
Would You Like To Buy an "O"?
Note - the biggest ball is one he calls "dada":
He likes this one about three striped balls that scorned a spotted one because it has the plague. I guess having the plague is much worse than having vertigo:
When he wants to watch this one with the balls, he requests it by saying "balls! Di di" in tune with the song.
One of our favourites and one of his involves Cookie Monster. I never remembered Cookie being so darned hilarious before:
All this is our attempt to get him to watch the classics instead of that arse Elmo Show. Ugh.
Currently listening to: "FOOD" by Cookie Monster. Dum de dum dum dum. Oh, Boo-Head says that when he wants to watch it.

Play-doh
With our yellow, green and blue Play-doh, Boo-Head and I have been creating masterpieces!
Most times we create food and thus far we've 'feasted' on meatball pizza, drinks of various kinds, a burger, a T-Bone steak, blueberries and green peas.
Our creatures have been shaped into a Pumpkin the Cat, a Jazzie the Cat and a Bird. Once, there was a Caterpillar (which I only just this second realized what it was because for the life of me, I couldn't figure out what I had made nor could he).
The recent obsession has been the molding of a boppie, a baby, a bottle and the baby's toy car.
But 'sshhhh', the baby's sleeping.
shhhhh...

Lover or Fighter?
H1 always said that Boo-Head's a lover and not a fighter, unlike his cousin Boo-Face. I suppose that there's only so much beating a little Boo-Head can take until he lashes back, pushes down his foe and proceeds to jump on him.
That day has come.
While it is unfortunate that he has resorted to "beat! beat!" his cousin, it's also unfortunate that standing up for yourself will not work on Boo-Face because B'Face enjoys himself a good fight and is only encouraged to do bad by this behaviour.

Flirt
Boo-Head is all about shy-looking. He used to do it to me when he was a few months old and started it up again recently.
He flirts as well these days much to my dismay. He's too young!
This weekend he flirted with Sufi, and last week he flirted with little Asian girls at Master Chi's wedding (he got in between their happy dancing and harrassed them). The week before that he was flirting with Steph and Christi and a while before that when we went to India House, he resorted to calling our waitress "baby" and kept calling for her.
X was displeased as you know, she says she's the only pi he should be giving sweet eye too. I have to remember to tell her about Sufi.
Also, if he finds new people he likes, he shows off in front of them.
On another note, Operation Fist and Bounce at MC was a success. He's a pro at representin'.
Currently listening to: Beetchie "choo-choo'ing Boo-Head" and Boo-Head responding with "'gain".

Morning
There was a time when Boo-Head would come over to Grandma's house in the morning for a day of play but the day usually started with, "Papa, Up! UP! Ay Ay!"
Now that Summer has arrived, the chant has become "Papa, 'Matoes! 'Matoes!" ie he wants to go to the garden to pick tomatoes.

Crayon Art by Boo-Head
Clear As Day
He said "Blueberry" today, and quite happily.
The other adventures had by little Boo-Head today involved his being behind Papa and Grandma in the garden. There he was, trailing them, and getting all involved by picking beans and a green tomato.
He also tried to pinch me but it was so meek that I didn't realize that's what he was doing.
Back in March or so, when we found out that Chrissy Lee was coming, I taught Boo-Head how to give a meggie.
"What will you do when you see Uncle Chrissy Lee?"
::tssth:: and a tiny meg from a tiny hand.
It was awesome.
Tomorrow if all goes according to plan, when asked, "What will you do when you see Uncle Mitch?", he will raise his fist in solidarity to his Uncle MC.

A Day Spent
Without Boo-Head is hardly a day.
Today we got home from work after 10 PM and little Boo-Head was already asleep (as he should be). It is sad times when I don't get to see him, especially since he's been asking for "Bueberry" for the past three days.
At this rate he'll forget me! Good thing he has one of my hats bought from Japan to run around the house in, as he did today.

The Case of the Double Duck
For the past few days, Boo-Head has been talking about a double duck. What is this double duck? We're not sure but there have been theories that the "double" means "Donald" as in Donald Duck but when asked to say "Donald", he said it fine. So the mystery remains - we don't know what a Double Duck is but it is rather amusing.

Back-Entry For May 10th, 2008
Boo-Head has a new trick - when he doesn't like a song, he will be sure to let you know. If you ask him if he likes the song, he'll tell you 'no' but beware if you ignore him and don't change the station because now he has taken to putting his fingers in his ears when trying to drown out those things he doesn't want to hear. No RATM though kid? Who are you?!
For those wondering, if he does like a song he'll start dancing to it by bobbing his head. That kid loves bass.
In other news, apparently big yellow posts at Wendy's are bananas. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, Boo-Head.

Back-Entry for April 27th, 2008
The 18 month old with the 22 month old behaviour has known all that there is to know since he was 4 days old, when he looked Grandma up in her face from the bottom of the stairs.
He continues to be hounded by the paparazzi for all he does and he does a lot. He gets into things, acts like a big boy and amuses (and sometimes bewilders) us weekly with all the things he wants to show us.
For this week, (and maybe some spillage from the week before) here are the hi jinks from Boo Head...
April 20th - 27th:
He has learnt to give sweet eye. He can give it like nobody's buisness. We must take video of it because it's hilarious.
How does he know to call pretty girls "baby" is beyond us but it's very upsetting that he's doing it to the pies. Didn't anyone ever tell him there's no hot pie? She was nice though, at least. It was still unacceptable!
He's been going on a biting spree and the victim has been grandma. "Boohead? What did you do to Grandma?" "Bit. Bit." He knows.
This week he got an easel. At first he was very excited and proceeded to take chalk to blackboard and draw to his heart's content. He drew one line, "car!" and then drew another line which of course, translates to "More car!". Indeed, Boo Head. Indeed.
Then proceeded to take chalk to mouth after breaking it up in many pieces. What the eff?! When will he stop putting things in his mouth? What kills us is that he does it on purpose. Eh!
After he spat out the bad tasting chalk (Yeah, that'll teach you!), he threw down the easel in a fit of what? Don't know but he threw it down and started to climb all over it. He's ungrateful, that kid.
When Suga' asked for a kiss, he said very defiantly "no". Fine. When Grandpa asked for one, he was about to go give one but realized Suga' was giving him the evils so he turned his head away and quietly said, "no".
On Saturday, BH went to a farm. He loves chickens. He tried to moo at some cows, and a duck tried to bite him.
Apparently, he will acquire Suga's animal encounters of the assy kind. The same duck showed BH his ass and then laid down a poop. BH, unphased responded, "Duck. Poop!". Yeah... maybe Suga' should be unphased by such behaviour as well.
Finally, he still refuses to say "Suga'Face" but has taken to calling Suga' "blueberry" or "booberry".
Grandma: You want to talk to Suga'face?
Boohead: Booberry!!!!!! Booberry!!!! ::runs for the phone::
Ehhh. And there was the time H1 asked him where Booberry was. He smiled evilly and looked Suga' in the face.
This is ass behaviour especially since he can say, "Watanuki".
He slays us...

"Goo'Day" to Boo-Head Hi Jinks
There would be a "Welcome" but this is appropriate because Boo-Head has learnt how to Goo'day me, his Suga'Face or for him, his Bueberry (he has yet to master the letter 'l').
This is a blog hosted by The HOchieS and Gnomey-Gnome. Yep, Gnomey-Gnome. He has been on sabbatical, but I discovered him busily writing ideas down for this blog when I found him behind the scanner in my room the other day.
So far, I've been able to decipher two diary-type entries he wrote earlier this year, so forgive me if the dates are all over the place but it takes a lot of hard work deciphering Gnome-Script and Speak!
What does the Boo-Head Hi Jinks Blog entail? Why, the Adventures of Boo-Head, of course! It's all about what H1's little Boo-Head has done as part of his life journey ever since that October 9th Day in 2006.
There's something new everyday with that one, so we decided to chronicle as much as we can while we can because the day will come when he'll be a pita.
Ahaha, just kidding H1.
A Few Things To Remember:
Mama is H1
Suga'Face, Booberry or Bueberry is Or 2
Currently listening to: X, drunk-dialing me on the phone, from Bim and it's not even noon yet. Tsk.
